The University of Law
The University of Law
The University of Law is one of the UK's longest-established specialist providers of legal education. We can trace our origins to 1876 with the formation of leading tutorial firm Gibson & Weldon.
With a rich heritage and a reputation for innovation and contemporary teaching practices, we continuously focus on developing the best legal minds.
What really sets us apart from other universities is the guiding principle that the current and future lawyers we teach should only ever learn in a realistic, professional and contemporary context with plenty of practical, interactive engagement. That's why we keep our contact hours high and our teaching groups small.
According to the National Student Survey, in 2016 the institution was considered as the Great Britain's first most successful university, with a learner satisfaction level of 98%. The survey is designed to assess undergraduate students' opinions of the quality of their degree programs, with seven different scores published including an "overall satisfaction" mark. The questionnaire is: Assessment and Feedback, Academic Support, Learning Resources, Personal Development, Overall Satisfaction, Careers, Course content and structure, Work placements, Social opportunities, Course delivery.
The University of Law (previously The College of Law), has the highest student satisfaction rate among private and public universities in the United Kingdom, it was announced today. According to the results of this year’s National Student Survey, The University of Law (ULaw) had an overall student satisfaction score of 97% – the highest among all higher education institutions in the country.
