School of Form implements award-winning design teaching programme, which combines design and humanistic education with an emphasis on close cooperation with business in Poland and worldwide. School has been created by a unique team of experts led by Lidewij Edelkoort, an unquestionable legend of the world of design.

In the academic year 2016/2017 School of Form offers studies in English at two faculties: product design and visual communication design. The entire course of studies lasts 3.5 years. The first year of studies is unified for all students – you will become familiar with the specifics of the course, understand the difference between the faculties, get to know your abilities and consciously choose your specialty. Moreover, you will learn the history of European culture and key concepts in humanities as well as social sciences.

All classes, including our theoretical classes, are open, interactive workshops. We always use exercises in experimental and conceptual design which leads students to a final demonstration and solution. Every task includes a design project which can be a simple sketch, model, or more advanced prototype or fully-functioning object.

School of Form is committed to working with the business. Thanks to our business partners, our students can participate in inspiring international projects already during the first year of study. During the second year students are given the opportunity to take training and internship in one of the companies, organizations and institutions cooperating with the school. This way they learn how to work in a professional design team, test their skills and discover the potential path of further development.

Bachelor programmes taught in English:

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

Full-time bachelor programme consist of 7 semesters, 3,5 years.

All international students: 5800 Euro/year

Scholarship: -100% off first year tuition fee, for international students. 

Additionaly:

• application fee: 80 Euro,
• social package: 300 Euro - on request. It consists of:
• orientation and assistance during the 1st month upon arrival
• guided tours of Poznań
• help in formal matters: documents, insurance, etc.
• introduction to Polish customs, familiarization with cultural differences and principles
• assistance in finding accommodation

PREP SCHOOL OF FORM Prep School will prepare you for undergraduate studies at School of Form. You will develop your English proficiency and practice drawing. You will also be introduced to the European culture.

It is possible to choose full course consisting of English and drawing classes or choose English classes only.

• FULL COURSE PRICE: 3000 euros

• ENGLISH COURSE PRICE: 2600 euros

• Course Duration: 2 semesters/1 year (October-June)

• Number of hours: 600 hours (English + drawing classes + culture classes)
