University College Aspira is located in Croatia, Split, an ancient city famous for its beauty, history, and athletes but also an increasingly popular tourist destination. Aspira educates highly qualified cadre at interdisciplinary studies of Sports management and International hospitality and tourism management and is the fastest growing educational institution in their country. Their main aim is to lead students into the world of business after they have finished their study and to give them the best education for managing specific business processes in the area of sports, tourism and gastronomy. University College Aspira became the first institution of higher education in this part of Europe, which has signed a cooperation agreement and validation of diplomas with the Swiss Education Group, a group that brings together the world’s best faculties in the hotel and tourism industry.

During the study, students have the opportunity to work as an intern in sports associations, sport clubs, federations and other sports organizations under supervision of their mentor (on-the-job training). In that way, students will be directly involved in everyday activities and problems of sports organizations. They will get to know specific techniques in managing and administration of sports clubs as well as the work of professional coaches and athletes. During internship, students will be learning more details about different sports by participating in everyday training process of athletes.

The most successful students will have the opportunity to obtain the internship abroad, depending on the level of cooperation established between Aspira and universities and/or sports organizations in other countries. Working abroad, the students will gain valuable experience and knowledge that will help them in building their future careers.

 

 

Summer School

Lectures: Every day from 09:00 to 14:00
Course in Croatian / English or Italian: Every day from 17:00 to 19:00

Price: for Croatian citizens 4.990,00 kn + accommodation for foreigners 990.00 EUR (accommodation is included in the price)

4. DAY: Soft skills (Multiculturality / Presentation Skills / Business Communication)
5. DAY: EXCURSION (Visit an attractive location + Visit to a hotel or restaurant)
6. DAN: Sommelier
7. DAY: Chocolate and sweets
8. DAY: Guest as King
9. DAY: Dalmatian traditional dishes (cooking with mentorship)
